This Sunday, May 1, Mike will be sharing on the topic of sin.  We all sin, so let’s talk about it.  It is a sober topic and perhaps we can gain some lucidity to help us know better who we are.

Stakelbeck on Terror Show: Fighting Sharia in the Courtroom

Wed, 22 Feb 2012 13:07:03 GMT

On this week’s edition of the Stakelbeck on Terror show, CBN News sits down with two leading legal experts to discuss their new organization, the American Freedom Law Center, and its fight against creeping Sharia and stealth jihad in the United States.

From defending Christian evangelists in the Muslim hotspot of Dearborn, Mich., to battling the Islamist pressure campaigns of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), David Yerushalmi and Robert Muise are on the front lines in the battle to preserve Judeo-Christian civilization.

Watch My Opening Monologue From GBTV's Glenn Beck Program

Sun, 19 Feb 2012 19:52:16 GMT

Last Thursday, Feb.16, I was honored to guest host for Glenn Beck on GBTV's Glenn Beck Program. The theme of the show was "A Test of Faith."

My good friend David Brog, executive director of Christians United for Israel (CUFI) and the brilliant Rabbi Daniel Lapin joined me, along with a great group of guests, for two hours to discuss the Left's war on Judeo-Christian values and religious freedom in America.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg--we talked about faith, family, the Bible, God, Islamic radicalism, and the earth-shaking events that will be occurring very soon.I hope everyone can go back and watch the whole show: it was fascinating stuff and I was privileged to take part.

Since I'm getting a lot of positive feedback about my opening monologue from that program, I wanted to share it here. I examine the Obama administration's double standard when it comes to religious freedom: defending Islam at every turn while ignoring persecution of Christians and Jews--which is often carried out, ironically enough, by Muslims.

I then share a bit about my personal faith journey and call on all who believe in Judeo-Christian values to speak up and stand strong in the face of the Left's relentless assault.

Analysis of Capitol Bomb Plot

Sat, 18 Feb 2012 19:31:33 GMT

I appeared briefly via Skype (from my kitchen!) on Friday's edition of CBN Newswatch to discuss the arrest of a Moroccan man who was allegedly plotting to attack the U.S. Capitol. Yet again, another homegrown Islamic terrorist plot. And yet again--surprise, surprise--the mainstream media has virtually ignored the story. Click on the viewer below to watch. And to learn more about the growing homegrown jihadist threat, be sure to check out my book The Terrorist Next Door: How the Government is Deceiving You About the Islamist Threat.

Stakelbeck Guest-Hosting Glenn Beck Program on GBTV Tonight

Thu, 16 Feb 2012 16:11:50 GMT

Well, I've got some mighty big shoes to fill tonight. I'll be guest-hosting the Glenn Beck Program from 5-7 p.m. EST on GBTV. I'll be joined by an all-star panel to discuss the Left's assault on America's Judeo-Christian values and heritage, the coming war in the Middle East, and most importantly, God's role in all of this and what is coming down the road.

I strongly encourage you to tune in and ask that you keep me in your prayers. I'm honored and humbled to be filling in for a great American like Glenn who's fearlessness, boldness, and pursuit of truth is a true inspiration.

Exclusive: Egyptian Dissident Warns About Rise of Muslim Brotherhood

Thu, 16 Feb 2012 04:56:45 GMT

I recently sat down with leading Egyptian dissident Majed El Shafie for a look at what's coming in Egypt and the Middle East thanks to the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood.

We discussed the Obama administration's missteps and Rev. El Shafie's own experiences in Egypt—where he was tortured and imprisoned for leaving Islam and converting to Christianity.

Reconquista Reversed? Islam Returns to Spain in Major Way

Tue, 14 Feb 2012 20:36:11 GMT

My colleague Dale Hurd, who has done an incredible job documenting the rise of Islam in Europe (see here and here for starters), has put together another shocking and eye-opening on-the-ground report.

Dale shows how Spain, which was conquered by Muslim armies in 711 AD and didn't see them completely expelled until 1492, is once again facing a struggle against Islamization.

Islamists Rejoice: Obama Admin. Pledges $800 Million in Aid to "Arab Spring" Countries

Mon, 13 Feb 2012 22:37:04 GMT

Let's do a quick review of what's gone down in Egypt over the past two months alone.

A.) The Muslim Brotherhood and an even more extreme Islamist party, Al-Nour, won control of 75 percent of the Egyptian parliament after sweeping electoral victories.

B) The Brotherhood wasted no time angling for sharia law and the elimination of Egypt's 31-year peace treaty with Israel.

C) The ruling military regime--which seems to have struck up a marriage of convenience with the Islamists, for the time being--rounded up and arrested 43 foreign aid workers, including 19 Americans, and is refusing to let them leave the country. A show trial may soon follow.

And what is the price that Egypt's ruling Islamo-military complex will pay for this bad behavior? More like, what is the price that will be paid to the Brotherhood? Why, $1.3 billion in military aid, what else?

Here's more on the Obama administration's new Islamist Winter, er, Arab Spring aid package that your taxpayer dollars will be supporting, from Reuters:

The White House announced plans on Monday to help "Arab Spring" countries swept by revolutions with more than $800 million in economic aid, while maintaining U.S. military aid to Egypt.

In his annual budget message to Congress, President Barack Obama asked that military aid to Egypt be kept at the level of recent years -- $1.3 billion -- despite a crisis triggered by an Egyptian probe targeting American democracy activists.

The proposals are part of Obama's budget request for fiscal year 2013, which begins October 1. His requests need the approval of Congress, where some lawmakers want to cut overseas spending to address U.S. budget shortfalls and are particularly angry at Egypt.

Obama proposed $51.6 billion in funding for the U.S. State Department and foreign aid overall, when $8.2 billion in assistance to war zones is included. The "core budget" for the category would increase by 1.6 percent, officials said.

Most of the economic aid for the Arab Spring countries -- $770 million -- would go to establish a new "Middle East and North Africa Incentive Fund," the president said in his budget plan.

Read it all. If it all sounds pretty horrible, that's because, well, it is. But hey, according to the Brotherhood, we wouldn't dare cut aid to Egypt even if we wanted to. So it looks like happy days and the sharia way are here to stay.

Muslim Brotherhood's Spiritual Leader Tells Hamas: 'Victory is Near'

Fri, 10 Feb 2012 20:37:37 GMT

Regular readers of this blog know all too well the Islamist exploits of Sheikh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi, the international Muslim Brotherhood's spiritual leader and top strategist. As I reported recently on CBN News (click on the viewer below to watch), Qaradawi believes the day of a new Islamic Caliphate is dawning, thanks to the so-called Arab Spring.

He made this view abundantly clear recently in a meeting with leaders of the Brotherhood's Palestinian branch, Hamas. Here's more, from IPT News:

A Hamas delegation headed by the self-proclaimed Prime Minister of Gaza met Yusuf al Qaradawi, the highly influential Muslim Brotherhood theologian, in Qatar Saturday. In the love fest which followed, as reported on Qaradawi's website, "His Eminence also gave the people of Gaza and Palestine the good news that victory is near and at the door."

Along with Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, the delegation included Yehya Al-Sinwar, a top security strategist, and his deputy Rawhi Mushtaha, recently released from long terms in Israeli prison as part of the prisoner swap. They invited Qaradawi to visit Gaza, where he could broadcast over Hamas's media outlet, al Aqsa TV. They also prayed that God would extend the Sheikh's life to allow him to pray alongside them in Jerusalem's Al Aqsa Mosque.

Read it all. And click on the viewer below to watch my report about Qaradawi: A man the Obama administration is reportedly using to "mediate" in secret U.S. negotiations with the Taliban.

Stakelbeck on Terror Show: Iran's War on America

Wed, 08 Feb 2012 02:40:19 GMT

Watch this week's Stakelbeck on Terror show below.

On this episode, we analyze the Iranian regime's ongoing 32-year war against America, and how Iran's nuclear weapons program is not just a threat to the Middle East, but to the world--contrary to some dangerous misperceptions that have been gaining traction in some places (like Ron Paul's campaign headquarters).

We also examine the Iranian regime's apocalyptic beliefs and how they motivate its jihad against the nation it calls "The Great Satan" -- America. That includes an in-depth look at how Iran and its proxy, Hezbollah, are establishing a network throughout Latin America--at the very doorstep of the United States.

Former Israeli Ambassador Yoram Ettinger, an expert on U.S.-Israeli relations, also joins us to discuss Iran, the so-called "Arab Spring," the folly of a Palestinian state and whether war is in on the horizon in the Middle East.

Plus: don't miss this week's "Sharia Flaw" segment, where we take aim at the Iranian regime's recent jihad against...Barbie. Yes, the doll.

Londonistan Lives: Brits Release Terror Cleric Abu Qatada on Bail

Tue, 07 Feb 2012 22:08:39 GMT

For years, I've documented Great Britain's descent into PC-addled, post-Christian, Islamist madness. In 2010, I received a first-hand taste of it during a week-long stay in London in which I interviewed Anjem Choudary and other notorious Islamists, some Al Qaeda-linked (see the video I've embedded below), who are walking the streets of the British capital as free men--and in many cases, collecting generous welfare benefits from the state.

I actually dedicated an entire chapter of my book, The Terrorist Next Door, to my personal experiences in Britain and the general overall decline of that once proud nation. If there is a living, breathing symbol of that decline and weakness, other than Choudary, it has to be Abu Qatada.

Acknowledged as Al Qaeda's spiritual leader in Europe and a former confidante of Osama bin Laden, Qatada has been in and out of British custody for years, as leftist British judges refuse to deport him back to his native Jordan for fears he'll be tortured. Poor guy.

In the past, when he's been free, Qatada and his family have collected the obligatory (for jihadists) welfare benefits from the British government. Incredibly, it looks like Qatada and his brood may now be living on the government dole once again: and just in time for the 2012 London Olympics.

Or maybe it's really not so incredible--after all, this is Londonistan. Here's more, from The Telegraph:

It is simply not acceptable that Britain is unable to deport radical Muslim cleric Abu Qatada who "poses a serious risk to our national security", Home Secretary Theresa May said today.

Mrs May said she disagreed with a senior immigration judge's decision to bail Abu Qatada yesterday, which means he will be free and walking his child to school within a week.

"The right place for a terrorist is a prison cell; the right place for a foreign terrorist is a foreign prison cell far away from Britain," Mrs May said.

The radical Islamic preacher will be back on the streets within days after he was granted bail, despite even his own defence team suggesting he posed a “grave risk”.

Mr Justice Mitting granted Qatada bail after the European Court of Human Rights ruled that he could not be deported to his native Jordan.

Downing Street said it did not regard the ruling as “the end of the road”, warning that the man once described as Osama bin Laden’s “right hand man in Europe” remained “dangerous” to Britain.

A spokeswoman for the Prime Minister said the Home Secretary, Theresa May, was considering how to respond to the judgment.

“We are absolutely committed to protecting national security and we are going to take the necessary measures to do so,” the Downing Street spokeswoman said.

“We are in no doubt that this is a dangerous man and he poses a real threat to our security. He has not changed his views or attitude to this country.

“It is not the end of the road. We are considering our legal options.”

Good luck with that. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Winston Churchill is turning in his grave. Click on the viewer below to watch my 2010 interviews with wanted terrorists walking free in London.
